Just one last thought on this.I'll keep what you and GTman said in mind. Just really OCD about bending a rod or something. I'll keep the ktuner then consider reflashing when she's paid off. Got it from Two Step, so it came with their tune.
I went back and forth on whether to tune or not for over 9 months. Researched the hell out of tuning 10th gens. My concerns were just like yours... reliability.
Well, more than three years later, I know I made the smart choice. The Honda stock maps are mediocre to put it bluntly. And it isn't just about power. Things like the Advanced VSA feature, boost by gear and on the fly map switching put the stock setup to shame.
The car is so much better, whether you're stuck in city stop and go, carving back roads or merging on the highway.
Waiting years to really enjoy your car will feel like a very long wait.
