That’s way too much. Find a different shop. I got a deal on mine and paid around $550-$600 for it all together, normally it would’ve been around like $700-$800 for the sub and installation.
Good to know. Thanks.

I would say definitely put some sound deadener inside the door behind the woofer, aswell as over the actual hole where the speaker mounts, and between the adapter ring and the speaker, a good quality component set that uses a textile tweeter is preferred you absolutely want to avoid aluminum dome tweeters they are cheap and will sound like nails on a chalkboard and the stock audio setting cannot correct for this. On the lower end i would recommend pioneer ts-a653ch, if you wanna get a little more fancy morel maximo 6 sound very good on lower power amplifiers. You didn't state what body type your car is but skar audio has custom fit enclosures for the civic i have a jl audio 12w1v3 2ohm in mine and its perfect on the stock amp

Did the tweeters fit into the sails without issue?

Would Infinity Reference be a good choice for door speakers and tweeters (https://a.co/d/av2AzoO) and center speaker (https://a.co/d/2q1rTmi)?
Follow up to this, would a set of Acura ELS speakers, tweeters, and center speaker be a better choice over Infinity Reference if I want a plug and play setup? Don't want to upgrade the amp.
