These oem shifter cables now days are trash.
You could pick a car up with the old F/H series cables and not stretch em....

Stretched mine with a aftermarket weighted knob. Lost 2nd and 4th unless I let rpm drop. Honda voided warranty over it.

Any company have a aftermarket one that's better than the hard to find backordered 1 year oem cables????

Only finding type r cables in stronger aftermarket
Guessing that doesn't fit?

I did order a type r shifter assembly.

I've not had a problem with the cables in mine. RPM related shift issues are usually due to clutch technique or aftermarket clutch/flywheel issues.

Why would you use a shifter cable to pick up a car?

Accident. H22 civic ... got hung up.

Both dealers confirmed cable stretched.
4th gear doesn't like going in now
