It makes the install cleaner
To me it looks like they're already wired in parallel, maybe with the stock connector on the car?

**Edit, I'm looking at other videos and the coupe panels are pretty easy to remove, though I'm also pretty sure the sub is already wired to be 2 ohm instead of 4, I'll wait tomorrow for confirmation.

Okay see now I'm confused, mine came wired like this for 2 ohm while others had to wire it themselves? Lol; and if it is correct, I'll just get to installing.
Might have been returned

Make sure it plays fine. If not exchange

Okay so I get very little to basically no bass or anything coming from the sub.

It could be out of phase and need pos and neg swapped in the adapter

What are your audio settings in the Headunit? The OEM amp only pushes about 75W to the sub, why in is why I amp’d mine. You should be hearing some bass, though. Is the sub installed?

They're all defaulted. I just plugged it in to test and there was basically nothing coming from it, very little.

Was having a chat with my neighbor who is really into audio. He said that since I have a aftermarket subwoofer, my stock amp isn't going to power the subwoofer that I was recommended much, that's why I barely heard anything from it. Going tomorrow to get a 5-channel amplifier and my subwoofer installed, this thread really let me down lol.

Your head unit isn't going to play very well with that 5 channel amp.

How would I do that or where would I go for that
Swap the positive and negative. Sometimes the adapters are reversed and the speaker is out of phase

Turn up the bass and turn up subwoofer in your settings

It's a free air subwoofer, it doesn't need as much power as one in a box

The signal the amp is send the factory subwoofer is the main reason you aren't getting much sound. It's crossed over very low so that it only hits on deep bass

And

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/team-dewitt/viper4android-fx/viper4android-fx-2-7-2-1-release

Viper4android has an EQ that can flatten your signal and kinda override the dumb factory crossover points

Is what most folks do to improve signal before you start having to spend a lot of money getting signal adapters and more amps and speakers

this thread really let me down lol.
Good luck👍
