I have a bad subwoofer which blew my amp. Got my amp replaced with an amp from a '17 si and now I want to replace my middle rear deck speaker. I don't get watts and power but I just want something to replace it and for it to work with my stock amp? Any help is appreciated.

Did you use the supplied harness/connector for the signal to the sub? Or, if not, where did you tap for the signal?
Supplied harness fits

I thought the one I got was just a "plug-n-play" sort of deal with the cable that goes into the stock one. Unless I'm just totally confused because I'm totally new to anything audio related to a car.

If I have to do soldering, I have no such equipment, i'll try to look for some videos
You don't need to solder. The speakers have spring loaded terminals

OP, here’s my DIY on the drop-in Kicker sub, info collated from posts around CivicX. I also detail how I wired in a mono amp to power only that sub, leaving the OEM amp for the other speakers. Sounds much better than stock, and coupled with Viper 4 Android in the head unit, it’s 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼!

LMK if you have Qs!
