Yeah that's definitely the only good way. Problem is finding an LX owner who's down to do it... would have to start going up to moms at the grocery store with their fully stock Civics and hitting them up for a trunk swap :rofl:
True but a lot of lx owners just wanted a manual and that used to be the only way to get one

I have an LX and put an aftermarket spoiler on mine. I think this one should cover those holes. And I really like how these look.

I have this one, but I’ve seen other members post this type of duckbill spoiler here as well. It’s subtle, sleek and a little bigger than the stock spoiler. I used the 3M sponge doubled sided tape and it’s not coming off. I have an EX-L and the spoiler covers all the holes on my trunk. I do agree. Why put so many holes for such a little spoiler. It was a pain taking off the stock spoiler. Having those plastic pry tool kits helps a ton.

i tried to talk vincent at 27won to make a spoiler for the SI, but he said it wasnt in the cards at this point. some company could have a gold mine on their hands if they come out with a replacement for our Si sedan spoiler

No doubt. But since there are 10 times as many EX-T, EX-L and Touring sedans out there with that shitty baby lip, companies would be raking in the dough.

I hate that huge wing on my Type R, I'd be willing to trade you straight across for yours.

Just kidding, your Fk'd.

:)

It's a joke, mine's a hatch anyway.

I'd love to have a duckbill spoiler like in the OP that also replaces the two lights on the edge of the trunk for a more reinforced mounting solution.

I'm on the fence re: that high kick duckbill for my new 2020 Sedan Sport. My main concern is how much does it impact/black visibility of the OEM third brake light. There are other options around the same price point which include a new/additional center brake light, and I cannot decide how much to worry...

Interested in other's thought, opinions, experiences.

I like the look of this and how it appears to sit more flush with the top of the trunk

I had bookmarked it previously from another spoiler thread on here but never pulled the trigger. I saw someone driving with what appeared to be this and a rear roof spoiler/visor and it completely changed the look of the rear end.

Casale_design had one in the works. Unsure if he got enough preorders to put it into production. He has a awesome FK7 duckbill btw!

I have the AdvancedTuning Si Replica Spoiler on my ‘19 Civic Sport. Works perfectly, and still kept the OEM lip. Here’s a link to the one I got off eBay.

Looks great, and I like the idea of not having to remove the factory deck lid spoiler. How did you handle the wiring for the brake light on the new spoiler?

Thank you kindly, and I didn't wire the brake light since I got the whole "pulse safety" when I got the car. I thought adding a fourth light, on top of that would be overkill. So its tucked in the housing. Still thinking of blacking it out somehow. May one day have someone tell me "hey, one of your brake lights aren't working".

Yeah, I would probably go the same route if I get that spoiler. Maybe some black 3M vinyl to black it out.
