I plan on it. about how much do they run? i want to keep it conservative for now until i have a block ready.I was told not to run the base map for to long.
Yeah if you are running the base map you'll want to drive very carefully and avoid doing any WOTs. However, you'll be just fine running a custom tune all the time, if you want to be easier on the engine then just run map 1 or 2 most of the time, or if you can control your throttle foot then running map 3 all the time should be okay. If you are worried about reliability, then let the tuner know you'd like it a bit more conservative.

I'll send you a link to the pricing page of both of the recommended e-tuners here:

https://www.imwtuned.com/store/p4/emailcal.html

https://www.phearable.net/tuning-software/etune.html

You'll have to select your options to see what your cost would be.

I know it seems expensive, but a custom tune is more about reliability than it is performance. More performance is just icing on the cake.

At this point thats the goal i really want it to be reliable no sense in having power if you cant use it
