Just noticed this. Only happens on a cold start. I'm curious on what it is. I know the fuel pump was recalled, or is it a vacuum leak, dirty maf?

Maybe his heater doesn’t work? Or maybe it idles at 1,000 rpm instead of 700?. i have the same issues….

I can tell you my example. When it was -42 in January, I had to drive almost 5 miles before my heater put out air above 30 degrees, and that was with recirculation on. As far as idle, every time I start it cold, it idles faster then normal, then drops in rpm a couple of times until it’s normal again.😂

My video didn't post but it will pulse on a cols start. Never over 1100. Doesn't happen when the car is warmed up.

IMHO, that’s so minor it’s nothing. ECU runs AF rich on start, when it really has no data, then when it gets MAF and exhaust O2 data it’s trimming fuel based on data And you’re seeing a minor blip. And very minor at that. In other words, it’s normal.

Every car I can remember that I've had runs at a higher idle when cold out. It's normal and intentional. Some pulse like that, I've never worried about it.

Thanks for the info. I'm going still clean my maf sensor and check the air filter. Doesn't hurt right.
