Was doing some pulls with a Vette the other day and money shifted from 4th to 3rd instead of 4th to 5th and now it’s making a ticking noise. Any ideas on what it could be and what a common failure is when this happens?

Either get someone to check your valve lash or do it yourself. Did you fully let off the clutch when it happened or you got back in really quick? You'll usually break valve springs money shifting, which then drops the valve and cause a lot of problems.

Did you turn the engine over with the cover off? You might see something once the valvetrain starts moving. A tiny tick like the video shouldn't show with things static.

It sounds normal to me when you hold it at the higher RPM.

I would do a compression test just to check if it comes back within range.
