I just finished doing a coolant drain and fill. According to other posts I have read, 1.4 gallons of coolant are needed to perform the service. When I drained the coolant using the plug at the bottom of the radiator, only about 3.5 quarts came out. I used less than a gallon to fill it back up. Is that normal? Why did it drain so little and not the full 1.4 gallons? Has anyone else experienced this?

I thought there also was a drain for the engine block?

You have to drain radiator+engine block+tank to get all of it out. Pdf code is *CivicX* (stars included in code)
edit: for some reason civic manual didn't upload although uploading is supposedly finished. Look it up in the forum, it's where I got it from..
