From the pictures, it looks like you are flashing from the laptop.
Directly flashing from the laptop to ECU is the least reliable way to do it..
The USB port falls asleep with any small lull in activity and connection is flaky at best; I see the connection status flash between green and red...
That sound is the refrigerant leaking out.
You'll have to go into the dealership and get a diagnostic done to see where the leak is coming out from.
Hopefully, it is the condenser and/or compressor shaft seal leak; then it will fall under the extended warranty.
I just got this fixed on...
Is the shake happening most during acceleration? A bad/unbalanced CV can feel like an unbalanced wheel.
The time thing could be due to the grease heating up, liquifying and self balancing at high speeds.
Now that I think about it, it could be a wheel bearing too.
You can make your own jumper harness
You can probably use breadboard jumper cables (here) to make your own harness.
I used these to wire the OEM Microphone/Homelink Garage Door Button into my car.
I like the idea behind this, but is the convertor, plug, and USB cable going to fit inside that yellow box? I seems like it would be a tight fit. The proper USB hardwire kit for your camera would reduce some of the packaging restraints.
Have you thought about just running a long (10/15 foot)...
If the shaking is under acceleration only, it is most likely your axles... Especially if they are NOT OEM.. I had tons of issues with the jobber parts from the auto parts store on my last car. I kept on getting the crappy ones exchanged because OEMs were almost $1000 each.
Sorry, I can't...
It looks like your rears are starting to develop grooves in them; the fronts look fine though.
If you feel anything other than a smooth surface, you should look into replacing the rotors.
Also, if you feel a lip on the outer edge of the rotor, that is also a sign to replace them as they are...
You have a weak battery, a healthy battery would have 12.6-12.7 Volts. All the clicking noises are a telltale sign that the starter is not getting enough power. If you still have the factory battery, you might get 4 years of you are lucky. My battery life fell off a cliff at 3 years, 10 months...
You have to re-install the software from KTuner's site, there is no option to upgrade.
The download link is the picture of the Windows icon on their page.
Or click the following link which is the download itself, https://www.ktuner.com/software/KTuner%20Setup.exe
Not necessarily, the oil and coolant passages are so far away from each other on the L15.
The coolant flows through the silver part of the gasket, the 10 holes surrounding the cylinders are the studs/bolts.
I would have to assume the blue arrows are where the oil passages are located and the...
White smoke is coolant, so it looks like a lifted head / headgasket to me.
The video shows the smoke appearing when you were off throttle (under vacuum), where the engine would suck in coolant if there was any gap in the mating surface between the head and block (gasket).
If it is breaking up...
Sitting in traffic (idling) will lead to high negative fuel trims. Since you are tuned by DRob, ask him to take a look.
See if you have the same high fuel trims while cruising on the highway. If they get close to zero, you're fine.
If you measure 14.4+ Volts while the car is on, you are good...
However, I am not sure how this will affect the smart alternators on these cars.
Hopefully, it will just keep on pumping out 14.4 volts as a fail safe.
From phearable's web page:
" - GOD MODE (Gurgles On Demand with Cruise Main On Engaged & between 3500-5000 rpms under deceleration.) "
When above 3500 RPM, the car is dumping raw fuel into your exhaust. That gas is going to give you pops but also low AFR numbers.
As stated by the two guys above me, if you INCREASE the size of the intake tubing (MAF housing), then you have to tell your car that by using the proper tune.
The P0171 is a lean code. If you have a stock/street intake tune, the car will run LEAN because it is expecting less air than you are...
