Just thought I’d do a little build thread on my car. Now I wouldn’t say it’s a “build” but it is tastefully modded and I’m always adding new parts/mods when money and time allows.
Here is when I first got the car in February of 2022
since then I’ve I added a WinJet fog light kit and LED headlight bulbs
Then I added a PRL short ram intake w/street maf. Plan to upgrade to the Cobra intake eventually.
Then came some Mugen style visors
Clear smoked side markers
And a DC Sports strut bar
that was the last of things for a while as the civic was meant to be my daily driver so I didn’t want to do too much to it, but with my project car being unfortunately too rotten to bother continuing with and my ability to not being able to leave anything alone I kept on buying stuff for the civic lol.
Next was some red Honda badges(yes I know stereotypical lol)
Then came the prototype version of Wunderladen Racings RMM
yes I know my subframe is rusty, east coast Canadian winters aren’t car friendly.
Why not a cheap front lip?
And then came the new wheels(Fast Wheels FC09 in 18x9 +30) and Skunk2 lowering springs
now it was time to install the lowering springs
Mugen style wing was up next
Decided it was time for some interior love with a 2020 Si steering wheel and some of that stick on carbon fiber to spice it up a bit
And some of the fake carbon stuff, which will be getting replace with real carbon eventually
Fast forward quite a while, we were hit with record breaking rainfall and flash flooding that has never been seen where I’m from and I had no choice but to drive home in it or risk my car getting water/flood damaged. Luckily the only thing to get damaged was the cheap front lip i put on.
but it gave me an excuse to buy a proper and better looking front lip
Then came more carbon, yes I know it’s stick on stuff, but at least it’s real 2x2 twill. Also swapped out the ugly stock shifter for you guessed it, a carbon fiber one made for automatic shifters.
Then I decided to add the 2020+ garnishes just simply because they look better. The rears have LED sequential marker lights
decided to dress up the engine bay a bit with some PRL goodies
and lastly is the PRL rear strut bar I just installed the other day
and this is how she sits at the present moment, I have type R side skirts on the way for the car, but aside from that I’m not exactly sure what the next mod will be, but I do have a list, just have to wait and see what’s purchased next.
UPDATE August 27, 2023
Ikon Motorsport side skirts finally arrived and got them installed about a week ago, tied into the front lip very well, now just need to get a ProDrager exhaust an CTRstyle rear valance to finish it up.
Also was to a few shows since the initial post where she was looking pretty good
