Hi everyone, I’m sorry if this is in the wrong spot it’s is my first time posting on a form. I have a 2023 civic sport hatchback and I’ve been doing research on different wheel sizes and tries. First off I’m thinking about going from stock wheels to 18x8.5 AVID1. I’m newer to this and I’ve never heard of AVID1 before so are you good wheels? I’m not trying to get cheap garbage. And I’m looking at putting a 245/40 size tire. I’m on stock suspension and I’m not looking for anything to rub as it’s my daily. Are there any suggestions for either a different wheel or different tire size?

AVID is not exactly wheels you would run on a track. But they aren’t awful. They basically make replicas of a lot of wheels out there. It’s better than Rotas.

I would honestly go with enkei. And if you had more budget. Rays or Volk racing definitely.

Thank you for the info I will look into that. That was my fear as they seemed too cheap to be true.

245s will fit no issues if you have the right offset. Konigs also make some really nice wheels and are about at the same price range as the other 3 above. I'm running 17x9 et38 and the fitment is pretty flush so a 8.5 you prob want it to be around 40-45. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you that’s my biggest concern right now I found so really nice rays with a 37mm offset. Do you think that’s enough for a 245 with good fitment?

should be, I put 255/40R17s last year on stock suspension and no rubbing. 245 should fit even better.
