CVT simulated shift point

yes trans slipping is when you give it power and RPMs spike and car doesn't accelerate. Mine is very jerky down low when it's cold. My parents old Subaru Crosstrek would do the same thing bone stock, bounce 2.5k and not shift on cold starts.

just to note, I had removed the CVT warmer.

Honestly, if you're concerned your CVT has an issue or might be failing isn't it best to take it in to a pro?
