I think that it is that AHA is disabled while VSA is on and actively working. That's what it says in my manual (page 509, 2017 all hatchbacks manual). AFAIK, the pedal dance is the only (easy, stock) way to disable AHA.

That's the 2017-2019 Type R part number AFAIK, the 2020 Type R uses 54100-TGH-G01.

Here's an old pic before final installation. The view is from my eye level and the KTuner is set low enough to not obstruct forward view. It took me a while to realize that the steering wheel and factory gauge displays are actually offset towards the door - the KTuner is dead-straight forward...

Velcro along the top of the v2 and a piece of black plastic as a hood work fine ... but so does tilting the v2 forwards/downwards just a bit. I use the former for my oil pressure and oil temp gauges, tried a hood on my v2, but ended up just tilting it a bit. I wish that the v2's backlighting...
