  1. What New Parts Would YOU Like To See???

what might you see being the bottlenecks of cooling the 1.5t at higher than 250hp for track days? being in CA, the one advantage is hotter weather at most tracks save Laguna Seca, so like 90f hot lapping sadly isnt far off the norm. nothing fancy on my end. just the modest gc+ and, settling...
  2. What New Parts Would YOU Like To See???

haw much of an advantage do you see that over the MA performance oil cooler? I guess I am paranoid over coolant temps given the polarizing internal exhaust manifold design of the l15b longblock, although hopefully it is not as bad the CTR’s cooling issues on the track
  3. What New Parts Would YOU Like To See???

were you guys working on an oil cooler alternative for non CTR 10th gen civics? I really liked the Greddy oil cooler before it was discontinued, especially as it was not placed in front of the radiator. I do know greddy and I think Mishimofo still have oil cooler kits for the CTR placed close...
  4. What New Parts Would YOU Like To See???

any updated on the approx eta on this? also wonder if theres the option to get the other mounts if I already have your RMM. thanks
  5. Upgraded rotors and pads for spirited street use that won't break the bank?

redstuff is not really meant for hpde. i am not really a big fan of the yellowstuff either. I ran the slightly more aggressive orange stuff front, yellow stuff rear on my close to stock power fiesta st and melted the pads. if I had to go with EBC again, Id be tempted to try their bluestuff for...
  6. Upgraded rotors and pads for spirited street use that won't break the bank?

you can get the endless mx72 pads (pretty easy to modulate and works good enough for light track/auto X use for the Si via blackhawk japan (part EP499) for $116 plus 40-50 for shipping. I had my fk7 converted to Si brakes and thats what I use. EBC rotors are a bit more affordable than Stoptechs...
  7. Decided on buying a weekend canyon carver / daily driver

Remark would be a lot more civil and not as expensive, I think closer to 7-800 catback. Thermal R&D is a good brand although lesser known. I have their catback on my Fiesta ST. It was a bit too quiet w stock downpipe. With catted COBB downpipe, its just right. It is not cheap for the Si, at...
  8. PPG gear set

wow what a scumbag shop. really crappy to hear when business take no accountability
  9. Decided on buying a weekend canyon carver / daily driver

interestingly with rv6 parts it seems like it is cheaper to buy from them directly, but I could be wrong. even with 5% off code it seems more expensive via more popular vendors here (to be respectful I don't want to name anyone)
  10. Decided on buying a weekend canyon carver / daily driver

I do have the ark-d exhaust, but just the catback without catted downpipe and front pipe (waiting on tsp catted downpipe). Really nice sound. drone is tad much but seems to settle after 2k miles or so. Kinda makes the car more lively but less comfortable. I do highly recommend the spoon...
  11. While subframe is out...

i am sorta in the same boat. going to install new gears and clutch. was going to throw in front rigid collars, front swaybar, downpipe and front pipe. I'm guessing it'd make sense to also install an anti lift / whiteline front control arms at the same time. RV6 offers an alternative...
  12. FK7 Time Attack/Daily Driver and NEW Civic X Products

motor mounts look great! do you have an approx eta on those? also curious how they'd compare with the 70 durometer hasports, especially with regards to nvh
  13. Si Track Suspension

wow thank you for the heads up! HRC products are also non-refundable btw , so you definitely saved me $1.8k right there! for discussion's sake, how much trouble would it be to swap out the axles? Is that the only bottleneck preventing us from using non-si trannies? My understanding is the...
  14. Si Track Suspension

you make a good point. they are not the same, so my guess is that the Spoon LSD would not work, as it supposedly also works for the FK7. I guess that means the only lsd option is the $1,800ish HPD or HRC / Cusco 1.5 clutch type for the 10th gen Si, ouch! I was checking it out a few days ago...
  15. CAPTS Custom Gear Set

curious if one can get CAPTS 5th and 6th helical gears, oem ratios, that might be compatible with the PPG gears (which are 1st to 4th only). already have a set of the PPG gears and speedo calibration box although not yet installed.
  16. Heavy Duty Front Lower Ball Joints

subscribed. have been eyeing this part, but not really sure it would be any more durable than the whiteline kit. any feedback would be much appreciated. curious also if the Spoon 'zero bump steer rod end' would be worthwhile to pair with the Spoon lower ball joints...
  17. Clunking Sounds from Suspension Mods

I also got rid my front endlinks that had annoying clunks, which were eibach but may have been made by whiteline. with whiteline, products can be pretty hit and miss. my rear swaybar gets loose and clunks as well at times so replacing that with a rv6 rsb. with front endlinks for our...
  18. FK7 Time Attack/Daily Driver and NEW Civic X Products

got it, good to know! What are your thoughts on the HDP/Cusco diff?
  19. FK7 Time Attack/Daily Driver and NEW Civic X Products

how would you say is the spoon clutch diff? in a somewhat similar situation, looking to install rv6 upgraded 3th and 4th gears. really like the wavetrac in my fiesta (although it will yank pretty hard for street driving), but sadly no application for the SI trans. hpd/cusco pretty expensive...
  20. Si Track Suspension

The Si is a nice car but really needs something stiffer even for spirited street driving imo. Right now my car is stock, save for spoon stiff plate up front. Stiff plate helps a lot with steering feedback. I went and ordered a set of silvers 2 way w/ 8k front and 8k rear swifts for my 10th...
