Yeah, if a car was provided, I would be āall inā. I understand from a business perspective why it canāt be that way though, itās operated similar to a platform like Turo. No one would purchase lessons if they had to drive a car that they couldnāt drive to the lesson.
Fortunately, I can back out...
I just signed up to be a part-time instructor for a Stick Shift Driving school platform, and it seems like a pretty cool gigā¦ the only thing Iām not crazy about is I have to provide my own car for the lessons. I guess Iāll see how the first few lessons go and then see if I want to continue doing...
Is it super faint, and sound almost like an electronic relay (it may even be that)?
My clutch pedal started making those faint clicks for a few months this past winter, once when I would push the pedal down to the stop, and again when I would release it past a certain point. It seemed to have...
Iāve done it twice and havenāt had any issues. See my post on it here.
I think immediately after pollen season make sense to get it done. Itāll likely only get dirty again next pollen season and the warmer ambient temps will help to dry everything off afterwards.
Used to be a big surfer, but moved away from the coast for work. Iāll still go when I can but itās not my go-to anymore.

Date - Mileage Installed: 4/28/24 - 56,538 mi
Still Installed (Y/N): Y
Initial Install Notes:
The install was pretty straightforward... EXCEPT FOR REMOVING THE C-CLIPS. The Acuity guide said 45 mins, but honestly, the whole job took a couple hours. I was...
I just have the stage 1 bundle, so just the base bushings and centering spring.
I do have the Acuity Poco knob, so Iām actually concerned it will sit too low with the CTR shifter assemblyā¦ I like where itās at now, and any lower I fear it would start to resemble shrinkage :fear:
Alright, so this is what I had to do. Once I started getting a feel for it, it wasn't scary, just took a lot of patience and swearing. Hopefully this helps anyone tackling this who is initmidated by these clips, in addition to the other tips shared in this thread.
Btw, I was able to get this...
Appreciate the encouragement! Have a busy month or two coming up. Family stuff, and then moving to new rental with what is effectively a 2.5 car garage š, for about the same rent that I pay now. But all that said, might not get to the rest of Acuity Stage 1 until after the move.
Iām referring to these clips (with the blue and orange marks). That hold the cable housing to the transmission bracket. Required an insane amount of force to free and there is not much space to work with.
