Hello, excuse my ignorance, I'm new to the forum, I just bought a Honda Civic SI 10th generation, and I'm finding out about all the issues.

Why PRL no longer sells the TURBO KIT?
I looked at it on youtube 3 years ago, it appears that it is the video?


They don't sell it anymore? Did they discontinue it? WHAT HAPPENED? Went wrong?

EPA regulation stuff, I think they even stopped selling their downpipes.

Had to for obvious business reasons.

lightly used, approx 8,000 miles, prl 2860gen2 kit available for sale $2500. (not the one on my car.. that has 35k on it and still going strong)

Yea damn Californians but they still sell and stock the adapter plate, turbo inlet pipe and hot side charge pipes just need an internally gated garret turbo it could be pieced together other than the 5 bolt specific downpipe. I am lucky to have the kit with a 2867r, fantastic turbo the noises it makes are bar none love driving it for that reason I never listen to the radio

a custom downpipe is used for prl big turbo kit and it comes with the kit.

Are you sure they still sell the adapter plate? They should do a limited edition production run on the kit. Canadians would buy them up in a heart beat.

i asked if they'd make me a catted version of the big turbo downpipe but they said no.

You could source your own kit just need a garret turbo, the adapter plate, a turbosmart bov I could help you with that part number the rest would require custom fab for the intercooler hot side piping and downpipe. It’s doable for sure
